A perfect experience for an entire family. Mermaid show is absolutely amazing. Ice cream is yummy. The boat ride is a lot of fun. Peacocks roam the sidewalks. This place let's you feel beautiful like a mermaid. I hope you get a chance to see these mermaids in action because you will be glad you did. I know I did.
What a wonderful experience! Even if it's just for the mermaids, this place is definitely worth the trip! However, I wish they would tell us before hand that you ABSOLUTELY NEED A FLOATER before getting on the lazy river portion of the springs. The springs is very deep on that end so you really do need a floaty to float. It's a fun day trip but be prepared for the ride and definitely go see the mermaids!
Truly met my expectations. My cousin had mermaid blankets made months prior to our visit. We were all so excited to see the Mermaids. The show was amazing. I loved how deep the water was. My children and niece loved it.
Home of the Mermaids has been my favorite as long as I can remember. My absolute dream in life is to swim with the mermaids. Even as an adult Weeki Wachee hasn't lost its charm. I haven't experienced the water park, but every time I'm in Florida I go watch the mermaids and go for a lazy boat ride on the river. There's never a shortage of animals to see, the live shows they put on are great and there will always be something magical about the mermaid show for me.
Nice spring! Waters pretty cold, and it definitely needs some time to getting used to. The water slides are a bit scary, but remember, hold your breath! The slides plunge you right into the springs, and if your not careful, you can end up with water in your lungs! The Mermaid show is great for everyone! I love the beautiful birds that like to hang around, and let's not forget those statues! The only problem is some of those statues have nipples, and I don't really want my nephew, or anyone's little ones, seeing them. Overall, very nice place!!!
