We loved it... The dinosaurs had the kids when we pulled in. The pond was really pretty, they got to fish and kayak which helped keep them happy for the weekend. The pool is in a screen enclosure which we enjoyed. The wild life is also very abundant. Hope to come back again soon :)
Very reasonably priced campground right by Weeki Wachi Springs and multiple beaches and places to explore. Wifi, water and electric hookup were all included. Would definitely recommend.
Best RV park for this area. Close to kayaking and the people who run it are amazing. Highly recommend!
Great dog friendly place. My husband and I love camping here with our 2 loveable dogs. If you're looking for a fancy resort this isn't for you, but if you're looking for a relaxing outdoor getaway with nice people then Cody's is for you. They have clean restrooms, free kayaks and canoes, nature trails and just a few miles from Weeki Wachee. They have rv and tent sites with electric and water and some sites on the water. Met residents who live there and every one has been very nice and helpful.
We camped here when we went to visit Weeki Wachee State Park, because it is close by. My kids LOVED it because included with the price of camping (which was a lower price than most other camping we've done), they have canoes and kayaks that you can use to paddle around their little lake. When we were there it wasn't busy at all, so we spent several hours on the lake, and my 9-year-old even got to do a kayak herself. Our kids have been asking to go back ever since. They also had hiking trails out behind the place that we took a short walk on, and wished we had more time. I would definitely visit here again. Is it the fanciest campground in the world? Nope. But for the price, and the fun things to do, it's more than worth it. Also, don't be fooled by the name...we camped in a tent! They have both here, and our tent spot included electricity.
